<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce man-hours for an initial setting of heater voltage with regard to a sensor voltage adjustment technology of a gas alarm. <P>SOLUTION: The following controls are carried out on an initial setting of a gas alarm. At first, a control circuit part 104 impresses heater voltage on a heater resistance 103 in a gas sensor 101 through a constant voltage circuit part 110. The control circuit part 104 calculates a voltage value and a current value of both ends of the heater resistance through AD conversion input terminals AD1 and AD2, and calculates heater electric power as the product of these values.
