<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction-saving, low-cost precast retaining wall propelling method for constructing a retaining wall and a water channel in one step irrelevantly to present conditions of the ground without requiring any temporary wide work area. <P>SOLUTION: A departure shaft is constructed by excavating a slope where the retaining wall is to be constructed and a part of the ground near a face of the slope along a road R, and a retaining wall block 20 in a trapezoidal shape which has a water channel 21 inside and is a little longitudinally long and inclined on the side of the road R is connected in the departure shaft to a rear end of an excavator capable of excavation in a substantially trapezoidal cross sectional shape. While the excavator excavates a ground G by pushing the base of the retaining wall block 20 by a base-pushing device installed in the departure shaft, excavation earth and sand are taken in the excavator and discharged to the rear through the water channel 21 of the retaining wall block 20. A next retaining wall block 20 is connected to the rear of the retaining wall block 20, and the excavation by the excavator and addition of a retaining wall block 20 are repeated until a predetermined arrival position is reached. Those retaining wall blocks 20 are connected in a watertight manner to each other, and then surface soil on the retaining wall blocks 20 on the side of the road R is removed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
