摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface plasmon enhanced fluorescence sensor improved in condensing efficiency of fluorescent light to improve an S/N value.SOLUTION: A chip structure unit is used in a surface plasmon enhanced fluorescence sensor 10 in which excitation light is emitted from the outside of a dielectric member 16 formed on an undersurface of a metallic thin film 12 and an electric field on the metallic thin film is enhanced to excite a fluorescent substance held in a reaction region of a reaction layer 14. The chip structure unit comprises: a chip structure 18 at least composed of the metallic thin film 12, the dielectric member 16 formed on the undersurface of the metallic thin film 12, and the reaction layer 14 formed on an upper surface of the metallic thin film and including the reaction region; and a light condensing member 34 including a total reflection function member 32 disposed between the reaction layer of the chip structure and light detection means 30, condensing the excited fluorescent light, and transmitting the fluorescent light to the light detection means in a total reflection condition.</p>
