The invention relates to medicine and may by used in neurology, narcology, therapy, in treating professional diseases, preventive medicine, rehabilitation and recovery after a disease, and also after stress mental and physical work loads. An appliance for inhaling, preferably, a gaseous mixture of xenon and oxygen, comprises a closed respiratory circuit including a patient's respiratory mask, a device for absorbing carbon dioxide and at least one respiratory reservoir coupled to a gas-distributing unit which is connected to a gas source and, via xenon and oxygen sensors, to a gas analyzer. The essence of the invention is that the closed respiratory circuit comprises a gas collector, the body of which contains the gas analyzer xenon and oxygen sensors, the device for absorbing carbon dioxide, a safety valve and at least one respiratory reservoir, wherein a non-return valve is mounted at the gas-collector input and connects the latter to the gas-distributing unit, and a shut-off valve is mounted at the gas-collector output and connects the gas collector via a respiratory tube to a bactericidal filter and to the respiratory mask, and the gas-distributing unit comprises a system for controlling gas consumption. The technical results achieved by the invention include reducing gas consumption, enhancing safety and convenience for the patient during the inhaling procedure, increasing reliability of the appliance, improving accuracy in preparing a respiratory mixture.
