The present invention relates to an apparatus for automatically opening and closing a cover of a smelting furnace to allow the simple and convenient opening and closing of a cover with the operation of a hydraulic or pneumatic cylinder installed below a support in one side of a smelting furnace for an alloy or magnesium in a vertical direction as a piston rod and a shaft are interposed between the cylinder and the cover in series. The support (130) is vertically installed in one side of the smelting furnace (100) wherein the cover (120) is installed. The hydraulic or pneumatic cylinder (150) is vertically installed below the support (130) around a cylinder coupling bracket (140). The piston rod (160) is installed above an adhering plate (151) inside the cylinder (150) in series. A protrusion (190) is inserted into a vertical groove (170) installed in one side below the piston rod (160) in series. The shaft (200) is interposed between the top of the piston rod (160) and the cover (120) to be installed in series through a cover support (220). |
