PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shell-type roller bearing that prevents a seal from turning.SOLUTION: The shell-type roller bearing includes a shell-type outer ring 2, a plurality of rollers 5 included in the outer ring 2, and an annular seal 8. The outer ring 2 includes: a cylindrical part 3 having an inner circumference face as an outer ring track part 4 of the rollers 5; a seal mounting part 9 adjoining one side in the axial direction of the cylindrical part 3 and having an inner circumference face having a larger diameter than the cylindrical part 3; and a projection part 10 with the seal mounting part 9 projected toward the axial core of the cylindrical part 3. The seal 8 has a recess 12 dented on a seal outer circumference part corresponding to the projection part 10. The seal is mounted on the seal mounting part 9 by fitting the projection part 10 into the recess 12. |
