<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device capable of setting the inner pressure of an assistant room to be low, being applied for various kinds of airbag devices over a wider range and constraining an occupant softly. <P>SOLUTION: An airbag is constituted of a second bag having a second air chamber constraining the head of the occupant and a first bag for constraining the abdomen or the like of the occupant. A first air chamber supporting the second air chamber and separated from the second air chamber by a partition wall is provided at the base end side of the second bag. In the partition wall, a through hole for allowing the first air chamber and the second air chamber to communicate with each other is formed. As the inner pressure in the airbag, the inner pressure of the first bag is set to be high, the inner pressure of the first air chamber is set to be middle and the inner pressure of the second air chamber is set to be low.
