<p>The present invention provides a path guide generation apparatus, method and system. Position information representing the current position of a vehicle is obtained from the traveling information obtaining portion (22) of the vehicle (12). The position information is transmitted to the vehicle information obtaining portion (34) to obtain the block information of a block corresponding to the current position of the vehicle from a plurality of blocks forming a road map; the block information for two time points spaced by a certain time are stored in a vehicle information storage portion as starting block information and terminal block information; a candidate path extraction portion (42) extracts the traveling path from a starting area to a terminal area as a candidate path and generates a path map based on the candidate path, thereby providing proper path information corresponding to the change of traffic conditions.</p> |
