PLASMA GASIFIER OF WASTE THERMOSET RESIN FOR THERMAL TREATMENT

The present invention relates to a plasma gasifier for thermal conversion of a waste thermosetting resin. More particularly, a plasma torch is installed in a tangential direction of an inner surface of a cyclone to pyrolyze a fuel comprising a waste thermosetting resin by means of a plasma flame; the pyrolyzed gas separates a solid component and a gaseous component while rotating and descending along an inner wall surface of the cyclone; and simultaneously, a residual time of unreacted materials at a high temperature is increased to facilitate pyrolysis. In particular, additional plasma torches are installed along a moving path of the pyrolyzed gas such that the unreacted materials come into contact with a plasma flame to be pyrolyzed and gasified. Therefore, the plasma gasifier is capable of increasing pyrolysis and gasification rates of fuel and raising an energy recovery rate.
