The present invention relates to a composite membrane comprising a graphene oxide coating layer having improved stability, and a method for preparing the same. The composite membrane comprising a graphene oxide coating layer according to the present invention has an effect of remarkably decreasing a separation phenomenon of the graphene oxide coating layer in spite of various physicochemical stimulations in the surroundings. Thus, the composite membrane of the present invention has remarkably improved stability and durability, compared to a conventional composite membrane comprising a graphene oxide coating layer. In addition, when the composite membrane comprising a graphene oxide coating layer is prepared by the method of the present invention, a separation phenomenon of the graphene oxide coating layer is remarkably decreased, thereby improving the stability and durability of the composite membrane. Therefore, the composite membrane comprising a graphene oxide coating layer prepared by the method according to the present invention has a remarkably improved lifetime in spite of comprising the graphene oxide coating layer.
