A cooperative control system and a cooperative control method are provided so as to realize high performance of IT services provided by battery drive or high efficiency of discharge of the battery through cooperative control of the cooling equipment. The cooperative control system for the IT equipment and the cooling equipment comprises the IT equipment, the cooling equipment, a battery for power supply in case of a power supply failure, a temperature and humidity sensor, a control unit which can monitor the remaining quantity of the battery and monitor the temperature and the humidity, a control unit for performing prediction relating to power supply faults, and a control unit for performing prediction relating to load and electric power of the IT equipment, a memory which can maintain relation between the cooling capability of the cooling equipment and electric power consumption of the cooling equipment, and relation between the remaining quantity of the battery and the magnitude of the current discharged by the battery, and a control unit which sets general electric power consumption of the IT equipment and the cooling equipment based on prediction or external output. The cooperative control is performed based on the set general electric power consumption. |
