<p>A disc brake of a motor vehicle having a brake pad holder, wherein brake pads (2) allocated to two sides of a brake disc with a friction pad (22) and a pad carrier plate supporting the friction pad are mounted in a sprung manner by means of at least one pad holding spring (3) so as each can be radially deflected in a pad cavity of a fixed brake carrier (1) using the brake carrier flanges (11, 12) laterally surrounding the brake pads (2), wherein the pad carrier plate of the brake pads (2), in the fitted condition, is held tightly in place on a first brake carrier flange (11, 12), wherein one part of the pad holding spring (3) extends, in the mounted position, over the edge of the pad carrier plate facing the brake carrier flange on the outlet side into an indentation (15) formed in a brake carrier flange (12) on the outlet side.</p> |
