<p>The ear cup (1) has a sealing device (4) that is placed against a support surface (3) of the cup portion (1') for bearing against a wearer' s head in an area around an ear of the wearer. The sealing device (4) comprises a combined soft rubber (TPE material) sealing portion (5) and sound attenuating ring (6) whose periphery bears against the support surface, and a hard foam plastic clamping ring (7) that expands the sealing portion. The sealing portion is provided with a peripherally extending flange that is introduced in the cup portion to bear against the inner side of the cup portion, with the clamping ring bearing against the flange and pressing it against the inner side of the cup portion for fastening the sealing device to the cup portion.</p> |
