The present invention relates to a method for the prophylactic and/or therapeutic treatment of fibromyalgia by using an antifibromyalgic agent and other pharmaceutical active agent to form a pharmaceutical combination, wherein the antifibromyalgic agent along with pharmaceutically acceptable additives comprises a quinine-based active agent as quinine or at least one salt thereof, and the other pharmaceutical active agent is analgesic or antidepressant, and administering of the quinine-based active agent is estimated in the initial daily dose from 100 to 1000 mg with further reducing it to the maintaining daily dose decreased by 20-80% relative to the initial daily dose, in each case based on quinine. |
