<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector device in which the portions between both ends in the arrangement direction of a plurality of signal contacts in a conductive shell, partially covering an insulating housing in which the plurality of signal contacts are arranged, are connected reliably and stably with the ground potential part in a wiring board. <P>SOLUTION: The connector device includes an insulating housing 11 which forms a fitting recess 14 to be fitted with a plug connector, a plurality of signal contacts 17, ground contacts 18, and a conductive shell 13 partially covering the peripheral part of the fitting recess 14 in the insulating housing 11. The conductive shell 13 has a ground connection piece 23 formed to project toward a wiring board between both ends in the arrangement direction of the plurality of signal contacts 17, and connected with a ground terminal 20 provided on the wiring board along with the ground contacts 18 by soldering. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
