<p>The invention relates to a herbicidal composition used for controlling the plant growth and a method for preparing the same. The claimed composition contains microcapsules having a clomazone-containing polymer shell and an urea-containing stabilizer, where the clomazone is present in an amount of 20...50% by weight, related to the composition, and the urea is present in an amount of 1...30% by weight, related to the material encapsulated in microcapsules. The claimed method consists in providing a water-immiscible phase containing clomazone, urea, an isocyanate, and, optionally, a cross-linking agent, providing an aqueous phase containing one or more surface-active agents, combining the water-immiscible phase with the aqueous phase, to form thereby polyurea microcapsules which contain the droplets of the water-immiscible phase, and cross-linking the microcapsules.</p> |
