The present invention relates to a learning apparatus and a method for detecting features of an extended region for object recognition and a computer readable medium having a computer program. That is, to detect an object, the present invention detects an object and then sets a leaning scope including areas showing the characteristic of the object based on the kind of the object besides the characteristics of the object itself. Thereby, the present invention can provide accurate and quick leaning of the object or the provision of a query by using object detection and query generation.
