The present invention relates to the technical field of computers. Disclosed are a method, an apparatus, and an electronic device for establishing a virtual directory. The method comprises: traversing designated-type files in a storage region; extracting property information of the designated-type files that have been traversed, the property information comprising the front two or all three of names, playback addresses, and episode information of the designated-type files; and establishing a virtual directory according to the property information of the designated-type files. In the disclosure, all designated-type files in a designated storage region are acquired, and a virtual directory is established according to the property information of the designated-type files, which solves the problems in the prior art that, due to different storage positions of video files, it is difficult to correctly find a position of a to-be-played video file at a time and the operation process of searching for the position of the video file according to the memory is complicated, so that a needed designated-type file can be quickly found. |
