PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an excellent insulation component for a power cable that hardly generates a void or peeling.SOLUTION: A formation method of an insulation component for a power cable includes: a pre-molding step of winding or putting an unvulcanized resin around a core metal 21; a shape correction step of pushing a press mold 40 for correcting a shape against the resin wound or put around the core metal; and a vulcanization step of vulcanizing in a metal mold for vulcanization the resin molded with the press mold.
