<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object detection device that does not require the disposition of a power generation element for power supply to actuate an electronic circuit for processing a sensor output, and is capable of determining the presence of a light source itself and the presence of an object to be detected.SOLUTION: When power is inputted, regardless of which of a first power generation device and a second power generation device generated it, a processing device is operated by the inputted power and recognizes which of the power generation devices the power is inputted from. Each of the power generation devices includes an energy conversion device for gathering environment energy and generating power and a power storage element, outputting power on the basis of a power supply voltage being applied between the terminals of the power storage element. The energy conversion device of the first power generation device is disposed at a position where the amount of gathering from environment energy is not varied according to the presence of an object to be detected, and the energy conversion device of the second power generation device is disposed at a position where the amount of gathering from environment energy is varied according to the presence of an object to be detected.</p> |
