PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of attaining weight reduction.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a body housing 2 for supporting a process unit 6 including a photoreceptor drum 61; and a drive force transmission mechanism 110 for transmitting a drive force to the photoreceptor drum 61. The body housing 2 has a first frame 100 arranged on one side in a rotary shaft direction of the photoreceptor drum 61 and provided with the drive force transmission mechanism 110, a second frame 200 arranged on the other side in the rotary shaft direction of the photoreceptor drum 61, a scanner plate 300 and a front beam 410 for connecting the first frame 100 and the second frame 200. The first frame 100 is made from a resin, and the second frame 200 is made from metal. |
