PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow determination of the presence/absence of a touch with reduced power consumption without deteriorating a detection accuracy in a standby state for a touch input without providing a special additional circuit.SOLUTION: A touch panel controller adopts: a first mode in which a normal scan that sets, as detection targets, all detection points for a touch detection surface of a touch panel is performed; and a second mode in which a low power scan that sets, as the detection targets, remaining lines that are obtained by thinning out lines by a plurality of lines every other line in units of lines of the detection points for the touch detection surface of the touch panel is performed. |
