PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolytic CO sensor capable of detecting a CO concentration even in an environment in which an oxygen concentration is varied.SOLUTION: A solid electrolytic CO sensor 1 includes: an oxygen ion conductive solid electrolyte 11; a detection electrode pair 12 comprising a first electrode 12a provided in the oxygen ion conductive solid electrolyte 11 and being active for oxidation of CO and a second electrode 12b provided in the oxygen ion conductive solid electrolyte 11 and being inactive for oxidation of CO; and a cancellation electrode pair 13 comprising a third electrode 13a provided in the oxygen ion conductive solid electrolyte 11 and being inactive for oxidation of CO and a fourth electrode 13b provided in the oxygen ion conductive solid electrolyte 11 and being inactive for oxidation of CO.
