PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator which improves safety and efficiency by enabling the visual observation of a crime prevention window and a maintenance inspection cover when needed.SOLUTION: An elevator is equipped with a car side crime prevention window placed on a car door panel of a car, a landing side crime prevention window placed on a landing door panel of a landing, and a light emitting panel placed on the car side crime prevention window. The light emitting panel prevents the visual observation of the inside of the car from the landing as a non-transmissive state when being lit and enables the visual observation of the inside of the car from the landing as a transmissive state when the light emitting panel is not lit. |
