PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic vending machine capable of maintaining optimum cycle according to the operation mode in a chamber.SOLUTION: The automatic vending machine is provided with an HC operation mode for simultaneously carrying out the heating operation and the cooling operation. By controlling the restriction amount of a first expansion valve 3 and the evaporation temperature on an inner heat exchanger 2b which operates as an evaporator to a desired temperature so that the temperature difference between the temperature at an air inlet of an inner heat exchanger 2a which operates as a radiator and the temperature at a coolant outlet of the inner heat exchanger 2a is constant and the high pressure side gets a supercritical state, a refrigeration cycle device which uses carbon dioxide as the coolant cools the commodities to an appropriate temperature while substantially optimizing the heating capacity and energy consumption efficiency relevant to heating of the commodities.
