PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make adjustments of a desired frequency without halting an oscillation circuit upon reception of a radio wave timepiece and non-reception thereof.SOLUTION: A radio wave timepiece includes: an oscillation circuit 2; a frequency adjustment circuit 3 that is connected to the oscillation circuit 2; a first constant voltage generation circuit 4; a second constant voltage generation circuit 5; and a voltage switch circuit 6 that mutually different two voltages generated from the first constant voltage generation circuit 4 and the second constant voltage generation circuit 5. When changing a load capacity value of the oscillation circuit 2 upon reception of the radio wave timepiece, a voltage to be applied to the oscillation circuit is switched to a greater voltage, which in turn improves a characteristic of the oscillation circuit 2.
