<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic inspection device which can be freely expanded/contracted in a pipe and is further miniaturized when it is reduced in diameter to the minimum level.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic inspection device which can be inserted into a pipe comprises a shaft part, an expansion/contraction arm, a travel part, a telescopic motion part, a telescopic motion control part, a hollow shaft motor, an ultrasonic probe, and an acoustic reflection part. The expansion/contraction arm is protrudingly provided from the outer periphery of the shaft part, and can be expanded/contracted in a radial direction with the shaft center of the shaft part as a center. The travel part is provided on the tip of the expansion/contraction arm and brought into contact with the inner wall of the pipe. The hollow shaft motor is arranged on one end part of the shaft part and includes a hollow rotary member coaxial with the shaft part and a non-rotary member surrounding the hollow rotary member. The ultrasonic probe is continuously fixed to the non-rotary member and arranged so as to emit an ultrasonic wave whose sound axis corresponds to the shaft center of the shaft part. The acoustic reflection part is provided so as to be rotatable in linkage with the hollow rotary member and reflects the ultrasonic wave emitted from the ultrasonic probe in a direction vertically incident on the inner wall of the pipe.</p> |
