PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the usage of a common spout attaching device even when a bag is changed from a center spout attaching bag to a corner spout attaching bag, and when a bag width W of the corner spout attaching bag, an inclination angle &thetas; or a length L of a corner part opening 3 are changed.SOLUTION: One vertical plane is set as a reference plane N, and a center line C of a corner spout attaching bag 2 which is positioned at the tip of a conveyor magazine 7 is located on the reference plane N. The bag 2 is adsorbed by a suction cup 28 that is rotatable around a vertical rotary shaft O, and the suction cup 28 is rotated by an angle &thetas; in the process of transfer. When the suction cup 28 adsorbs the positioned bag 2, the position of the rotary shaft O is set to a position where a corner part opening perpendicular line M passing the center of a corner part opening 3 intersects the reference plane N. The bag 2 adsorbed by the suction cup 28 is sent to a positioning conveyor 6 and positioned by stoppers 52, 53.
