PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To equalize the inflow state of an internal cooling gas into a cooler at a totally-enclosed rotary electric machine.SOLUTION: A totally-enclosed rotary electric machine 10 includes: a rotor 20 having a rotor shaft 21 and a rotor core 22; a stator 30; a frame 11 which houses the rotor core 22 and the stator 30, the frame 11 where a first opening 11a and a second opening 11b are formed; a cooler cover 48 which forms a sealed space 51 with the frame 11; a fan 25 which circulates an internal cooling gas in the sealed space 51; a guide part 45 which guides the internal cooling gas, which flows from the frame 11 into the cooler cover 48 through the first opening 11a and flows out from the second opening 11b to the frame 11, and forms a guide passage 52a; and a cooler 40 having a cooling pipe 41 serving as a passage of an external cooling medium. The cooler 40 is provided in a direction such that the cooling pipe 41 is disposed on a plane perpendicular to a flow direction of the internal cooling gas in the guide passage 52a. |
