<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: a communication signal is instantaneously interrupted when switching is performed between high-gain and low-gain operations.SOLUTION: A variable gain amplifier includes: a distributor that outputs an input signal by distributing the input signal to at least first and second signal paths; an active element that outputs the input signal by amplifying or attenuating the input signal; a synthesizer that outputs the signals, input from the first and second signal paths, by synthesizing the signals; and a control part that controls drive power of the active element. The active element is arranged only in the first signal path.</p> |
