<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay system and relay apparatus capable of reducing latency accompanying relay processing in the case of a failure.SOLUTION: Each of L3 switches 10a to 10d constituting a ring network holds an L3 table for holding a correspondence of an IP address of a destination to a MAC address and a port in relaying a frame to the IP address of the destination. For example, in the case of detecting a failure at an upper link port Pu[1], an L3 switch 10b replaces an "upper link port Pu[1]" held in the L3 table 15b with an "upper link port Pu[2]."</p> |
