<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a master station device capable of reducing time required for a failure changeover.SOLUTION: An OLT 1 comprises PON interface units 11-1 to 11-m comprising: a band allocation control unit 115 for allocating a wavelength of a light signal to be transmitted to ONU 2-1 to 2-n; optical transmission units 112-1 to 112-4; a failure detection unit 118 for detecting a failure in the optical transmission units 112-1 to 112-4; and a failure changeover management unit 116 that calculates first changeover time required for first changeover, which is changeover of wavelengths to be allocated to the ONU 2-1 to 2-n, and second changeover time required for second changeover, which is changeover of the PON interface units 11-1 to 11-m to be connected to the ONU 2-1 to 2-n, and selects either of the first changeover or the second changeover as a failure changeover method on the basis of the first changeover time and the second changeover time in the case that a failure in the optical transmission units 112-1 to 112-4 is detected.</p> |
