PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector that facilitates analysis when video signals are not correctly displayed.SOLUTION: A projector 1 includes: a light source (light source device 11); a light modulation device (liquid crystal light valves 12R, 12G, 12B) that modulates the light emitted from the light source according to a video signal; a projection optical system (projection lens 13) that projects the image light modulated by the light modulation device; a display unit 28 that is included in a body of the projector 1; an acquisition unit (video signal determination unit 31 and control unit 20) that acquires information indicating a state related to the video signal; and the control unit 20 that displays, on the display unit 28, the information indicating a state related to the video signal acquired by the acquisition unit. |
