<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve efficient cooling operation.SOLUTION: A cooling system 1 of this invention comprises: a slurry generating segment 2 for generating slurry-like medium including ice; a pump 3 for feeding out the slurry-like medium; and a circulating pipe 4 for guiding the slurry-like medium fed out of the slurry generating segment 2 to an object 9 to be cooled and returning the medium used for cooling the object 9 to be cooled to the slurry generating segment 2. The circulating pipe 4 includes a cooling segment 41 for cooling an object surface 91 that is a surface of the object 9 to be cooled through heat exchanging between the slurry-like medium flowing in it and the object 9 to be cooled. The cooling system 1 enables ice to be easily transported up to the cooling segment 41 arranged near the object surface 91 to be cooled through utilization of the slurry-like medium. With this arrangement, it is possible to achieve cooling of the object surface 91 to be cooled under efficient utilization of latent heat of ice as compared with that of utilizing latent heat of ice through other media, and further it is possible to perform an efficient lowering of a temperature in a space near the object surface 91 to be cooled.</p> |
