PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus reduced in power consumption.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: vibration detection means for detecting a vibration; calculation means for calculating the target position of correction means, so as to reduce an image blur caused by the vibration; position detection means for detecting the position of the correction means; feedback control means for performing feedback control on the basis of the position of the correction means detected by the position detection means and the target position of the correction means calculated by the calculation means; driving means for driving the correction means on the basis of the control by the feedback control means; and determination means for determining a vibration state on the basis of the output signal of at least one of the feedback control means, the position detection means, and the driving means.
