PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner that exhibits excellent low-temperature fixability and heat-resistant storage property even when a resin including polylactic acid skeleton is used as the main component of a binder resin.SOLUTION: There is provided a toner that contains at least a first resin and a mold release agent, where the first resin satisfies the following requirements. (1) The first resin is a block copolymer including a polylactic acid segment and a polyester segment other than the polylactic acid segment. (2) The polylactic acid segment is obtained through the ring-opening polymerization of a lactide containing 20 wt.% or more of mesolactide. (3) The polylactic acid segment contains an L-lactic acid in an amount of 10 to 90 wt.%.
