PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server capable of controlling a stock of food on which no expiration date is mentioned.SOLUTION: A server 4 in a food information management system comprising the server 4 at a food store 1 and a refrigerator 8 at a consumer house 6, which is provided with a refrigerator food state information management unit 41 that manages purchased food information of consumers and refrigerator identification information of refrigerators used by the consumers, and transmits the purchased foods information to the refrigerator 8 of a corresponding consumer on the basis of the refrigerator identification information. The refrigerator food state information management unit 41 receives, from the consumer house 6, food state information based on a result of measurement of the state of the food purchased by the consumer and manages the state of the food at a time when the refrigerator is used for each refrigerator on the basis of the foods state information to generate time limit information of purchased food, when the consumer purchases the same kind of food, on the basis of the food state information. |
