<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle side airbag device in which a side airbag can be expanded more properly when a lateral collision occurs.SOLUTION: A vehicle side airbag device comprises: a case 17 which is provided on the side of a seat back 11b constituting a seat 11, and accommodates a side airbag 25 and an inflator 26 that supplies gas to the side airbag 25; a lid part 35 which is provided in the case 17 and opens when being pushed and spread by the expanding side airbag 25; and a regulation part 40 provided in the lid part 35 for regulating an opening amount of the lid part 35. By this configuration, when an intrusion amount of a vehicle body side entering a passenger compartment is small, the opening amount of the lid part 35 is regulated appropriately, and thereby the side airbag 25 can be expanded more properly.</p> |
