<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deform a deck garnish in a proper deformation mode and ensure the deformation stroke of the deck garnish and a front hood when an impact is applied from a vehicle upper side of the front hood.SOLUTION: A deck garnish 1 comprises: an upper surface part 11 provided between a windshield 2 and a front hood 3 of an automobile, and extending from the lower end part of the windshield 2 to the vehicle front side; a front wall part 13 extending from a vehicle front end part 12 of the upper surface part 11 toward a vehicle lower side while being inclined to a vehicle rear side; and a lower surface part 15 extending from a vehicle lower end part of the front wall part 13 to the vehicle front side. The deck garnish 1 also comprises a projection 17 which is arranged oppositely to the underside of the front hood 3 on the vehicle rear side from the vehicle front end part 12 in the upper surface part 11, and projected so that a space between the projection 17 and the front hood 3 becomes minimum.</p> |
