PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic charge image development that is excellent in color reproducibility of PANTONE 166C.SOLUTION: There is provided a toner for electrostatic charge image development that includes toner particles containing at least a binder resin, C.I.PigmentYellow 74 as a yellow colorant, and at least one red colorant selected from the group consisting of C.I.PigmentRed 48:1, C.I.PigmentRed 48:3, C.I.PigmentRed 57:1, and C.I.PigmentRed 184, where when an image in which a toner mounting amount T (g/m) satisfies the formula T=4×D/7, wherein D represents a value obtained by subtracting a unit of length from a volume average particle diameter (μm) of the toner particles, is formed on coat paper having a glossiness of 40%, the color difference &Dgr;E from PANTONE 166C is within 10. |
