PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processor, a program and a range hood device, capable of preventing divergence of update control of a filter coefficient or deterioration of noise suppression characteristics due to adapting to disturbance sounds even when collecting disturbance sounds in an active noise control.SOLUTION: A silencer 1 is used in a combination with a range hood device 2 to suppress noises from a fan 22. In a signal processor 12 of the silencer 1, a disturbance detection section 134b detects a mixture of disturbance sound based on a reference signal X and an error signal e. When the disturbance detection section 134b detects a mixture of disturbance sound, an update stop section 134e stops a coefficient update part 134a from updating of a filter coefficient W of a silencer filter 135a in at least a frequency band other than frequency band of the noises as a target.
