摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the reverse transmission of a drive force from a drive wheel side to a drive source side at the deceleration of a vehicle while reducing the number of clutches, in a continuously variable transmission which is formed by combining a belt-type continuously variable transmission mechanism and a sub-continuously variable transmission mechanism.SOLUTION: A first output changeover mechanism 36 and a second output changeover mechanism 37 can switch a first state that relative rotation in dual directions is prohibited, a second state that the relative rotation in the dual directions is permitted, and a third state that the relative rotation in only one direction is permitted, and thereby the first output changeover mechanism 36 is brought into the first state at a LOW mode, and the second output changeover mechanism is brought into the second state at a LOW mode, the first output changeover mechanism 36 is brought into the second state at a HI mode, and the second output changeover mechanism 37 is brought into the first state at a HI mode, and the first output changeover mechanism 36 and the second output changeover mechanism 37 are brought into the third states at a transition mode between the LOW mode and the HI mode. By this constitution, an engine brake function and a recovery function from a deceleration fuel cut can be secured, and the generation of interlock can be prevented while avoiding the interruption of the transmission of a drive force at the transition mode.
