PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a lithium ion secondary battery that can be used without precipitating lithium.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a lithium ion secondary battery includes a step performing initial charging of a pre-battery, a step performing first charging, different from the initial charging, of a pre-battery subjected to initial charging, and a step for aging the pre-battery subjected to first charging. The pre-battery has an electrode body including a facing portion where a positive electrode mixture layer faces a negative electrode mixture layer, and a non-facing portion where the negative electrode mixture layer does not face the positive electrode mixture layer, and an electrolyte containing an additive. In the first charging, the charging current is 20C-30C, and the charging time is 20-25 sec. |
