PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for presenting emergency information and controlling a device to be controlled, if an installation area of the device having received an emergency warning broadcast signal is included in an area which may be influenced by a disaster.SOLUTION: A digital broadcast-receiving device 10 includes: a tuner/demodulator 11; a demultiplexer 12; a decoder 13; a communication section 18; a storage section 17; and a control section 16. The storage section 17 stores emergency information presentation control information 17a, device control information 17c and installation area information 17c indicating an installation area of the digital broadcast receiving device 10. The control section 16 includes: a disaster emergency degree discrimination part 16a for discriminating a diaster type and a disaster attack degree in the area indicated by the installation area information 17c from an emergency warning broadcast signal; an emergency information presentation part 16b for acquiring presentation contents corresponding to the disaster class and the damage degree; and a device control part 16c which acquires control contents corresponding to the disaster type and the damage degree from the device control information and sends a control signal according to the acquired control contents to the device to be controlled.
