PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize more proper constitution of mask data to be used in multipass system.SOLUTION: A printing device 10 for ink jet printing comprises an ink jet head and a control part 20. The control part 20 makes the ink jet head perform printing onto a medium 50, and makes the ink jet head discharge ink droplets to a pixel designated by mask data in each of a plurality of printing passes performed to each position of the medium 50. In a case in which a spatial frequency of a row of dots of ink formed on the medium 50 in a first printing pass among the plurality of printing passes is defined as a first frequency, and a spatial frequency of a row of dots of ink formed on the medium 50 in a second printing pass performed after the first printing pass is defined as a second frequency, the first frequency is lower than the second frequency. |
