PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet receiver capable of easily implementing high reliability of packet transmission using a network.SOLUTION: A reception buffer 3 of a packet receiver 1 has a plurality of storage addresses. A packet discrimination section 4 receives packets from a plurality of lines 2 including those for an active system and a standby system. The packet discrimination section 4 determines a storage address corresponding to a unique number assigned to a packet and stores the packet data in the storage address in an overwriting manner. A packet retrieving transmission section 5 retrieves the data stored in the reception buffer 3 and performs a packet transmission. |
