<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a V belt for high load transmission having excellent durability.SOLUTION: Each block 14 of a V belt 10 for high load transmission is formed of a fiber reinforced resin whose 20 vol.% or more of portion out of the whole volume containing the surface layer portion of a center pillar 14c contains inorganic short fibers 23 of 15-80 mass%. In the fiber reinforced resin forming the surface layer portion of the center pillar 14c, half or more of inorganic short fibers having a fiber length 1-25 mm out of the inorganic short fibers have an orientation angle within ±40° with a belt thickness direction as reference, and are orientated in a belt thickness direction.</p> |
