<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll brush capable of effectively reducing the size of an outside diameter of a partial area, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a roll brush 11 includes: a joining step of joining a pile fabric in such a state as to be wound around a surface of a shaft member 12 with each pile yarn facing the outside, where the pile fabric is formed by weaving a plurality of pile yarns composed of a thermoplastic resin into a base fabric, with their erected on the base fabric; a cutting step of cutting and shortening respective pile yarns at partial areas in the axial direction of the shaft member 12, along the circumferential direction of the shaft member 12; and a heating step of heating and melting the respective pile yarns shortened by cutting.</p> |
