<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a high efficiency induction motor in terms of at least one of the costs, the weight of the motor, and the striking current.SOLUTION: An induction motor includes: a stator core which is formed into a substantially cylindrical shape extending in an axial direction, the stator core where a through hole is formed at a center part and multiple slots opening to the through hole on an inner surface of the stator core are formed; and coils disposed in the slots. The coil is a copper clad aluminum wire including an aluminum layer at the inner side and a copper layer coating the aluminum layer.</p> |
