<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner enabling an outdoor unit to control an indoor unit to stop operating and to restart operating at a time of conducting maintenance work of the outdoor unit.SOLUTION: An air conditioner comprises: an outdoor unit 1; and an indoor unit 11 connected to the outdoor unit 1 via a refrigerant pipe and air-conditioning an indoor space in cooperation with the outdoor unit 1 on the basis of operation of a remote controller 16, and the outdoor unit 1 includes a stop switch 4a, a return switch 4b, and a microcomputer 3 controlling the indoor unit 11 and the outdoor unit 1 to stop operating to stop air-conditioning the indoor space when the stop switch 4a is operated to be turned on while the indoor space is air-conditioned, and controlling the indoor unit 11 to restart operating to air-condition the indoor space in cooperation with the outdoor unit 1 when the return switch 4b is operated to be turned on while the air-conditioning of the indoor space is stopped by operating the stop switch 4a to be turned on.</p> |
